When we began the move to our new home, our son told us that moving, under normal circumstances, would be one of the most difficult experiences we would face, & that having to decide what to take with us & what to get rid of after 46 years of living there would make it even more difficult. Alisson coming into our lives when we started the move (quite by accident) was a blessing. There’s a saying that goes, “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong”, & we never realized how true that was until we put our house on the market. We hit several bumps, & a couple of sinkholes through the process, the worst being Terry ending up in the hospital for 19 days, & a lengthy recovery after he came home.
